I was watching the person at the verizon store... When they booted the phone, it was they held down one key while they held in the power button... It came up with about 5 lines of green typing... This was some "set up screen", but they could not get it to go beyond that...

On another topic. My new phone now has 2.2, but it does not seem like it has flash... I try to view several websites with flash and it says i still need flash installed. Is there some way to check the flash... It does not seem to show up in the list of applications...

Could you describe the "startup screen"? Was it a black screen with a few lines of text on it or was it a big triangle with an exclamation point in it?
