Questions about "bin" commands in Samsung Fascinate

I was poking around in the shell today and was curious about some things.

I do not see a “clear” command in the system bin.
I do not see a “vi” or other editor in the system bin.

I see a command called “raccoon” in the system bin. Any ideas as to what this is?

I would like to rename some of the bloatware in system apps. What APKs should I mv to bak extentions?

Can I load vi into the system bin?
