Push for Gmail/Hotmail?

    Hey guys, is it possible? Ive already set up my D2G to sync with gmail and hotmail, and dont want my phone to be checking my hotmail and gmail account for new mail especially when there is none, how do i do this?

    Gmail is already setup for push, that's the advantage to using the stock gmail app. You can setup gmail to poll your POP3 email accounts (like hotmail) and then push that email to your phone. The beauty of it is that Gmail polls the other accounts based on the frequency that they receive email, so if you get infrequent emails, google won't check it often, and vice versa.
