New to this site and have a problem

Hello, my name is Rob. I just purchased a new HTC Droid. What an awesome phone. Only problem is when I add contacts to my favorites, they either dissappear after 5 minutes from the favorites page, or over-write the existing one, then disappear. Anyone with advice? Thanks in advance.

You have to set it to Vibrate in the Messages app itself. If you have done this I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working.

To do this follow these directions:

Go to the messages app and then hit Menu, click settings and scroll down to the Received messages category and check vibrate.

lol u dont need to take it back. try out handcent (on the market) - lets u customize the texting part of the phone and I (as do many others on here) think its a lot better than stock
