I actually came across this site looking for help connecting to my home wifi network.
After spending many hours trying to figure out why I could see my network, but couldn't connect, even with my password, I received help from a nice lady on Verizon tech assistance.
My network name had an ' and a space. When I changed my network name to just letters and numbers (together - no space) it worked!!! I am now using my own wifi network.
Just thought I'd pass that on because I noticed that a lot of other people were having the same problem.
