need photo help

I have downloaded photos from text messages and though I choose the "save to SD card" it ends up in a file called downloads that doesn't show up when I try to transfer the pics to my computer. Is there a way to move them to the SD card? I just became a great-aunt and would love to save the pictures to my Mac.

Have you tried astro file manager? In Market.
