I want to install the DSLR Controller, but it is only compatible with the following devices; is the Droidx one of these?

Motorola Xoom, Xoom 2

Honeycomb 3.0/3.1: may work if rooted
Honeycomb 3.2+: root not required
Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0+: root not required

mikecox, yes your droidx should be compatible as long as you're x is running ICS and not on GB. If its on the playstore just download it, it wont download if it's not compatible.

How would I know that I am running ICS? I've checked "about phone" but there is no reference to what I'm running.

Mikecox, go to settings>about phone> then scroll down to android version. Should be 4.?.?, if so you are good to go.

If it's not HD it might as well be a newspaper.

I'm having a memory lapse trying to remember if the DX got ICS or not. Mine has been retired for a couple of years now.

Mine is stuck at android version 2.3.4 aka gingerbread.

If it's not HD it might as well be a newspaper.
