Is there any sort of message that pops up or does it just hang?

No message. I just click on move file. Then I click on Galaxy Nexus when it prompts me to select where you want to move the pic. Then the "Move" button gets greyed out?

What OS are you using?

Have you just tried dragging it to the Nexus folder?

In the Galaxy Nexus folders my pics are there. Shouldn't they have copied over to my phone automatically?

You have to move your files over to your Nexus. Plugging in the Nexus won't start an automatic transfer.

It looks like you're using Windows. So I'll try to walk you through it.

1. Plug in your Nexus and a window should pop up asking to open the folder or not
2. Find your pictures on your PC
3. Drag the files over to the Nexus folder
3a. Right click the file/folder and hit "send to" (Galaxy Nexus)
4. A small window will show up showing the transfer rate
5. All done

Would help if you let me know what OS you're using. And sometimes a quick restart will help. If that doesn't work you'll have to find the drivers online.

Download and install the driver, then restart your computer. Should work. Unfortunately, Windows XP is a very old OS and many are moving away from it. It's slowly being phased out and there will be issues with new technology, the Nexus for example, when it comes to getting the two to work together.

Man this is frustrating. It says the drivers were already installed. So I tried again and nothing. Then I tried to install again and the same wizard notification came up. Plus, the Galaxy Nexus is not even listed under the C drive anymore. I dont understand I was able to transfer the pics without an issue?

Should I just accept the fact that these pics will never get back on my phone?
