Requirements:

  • Root
  • Clockwork Recovery
  • Froyo

NOTE: this will replace your current Android keyboard! Make a backup first if you want to revert!

Title says it all, I guess. Flash with Clockwork Recovery or ROM manager. Don't need to wipe, mount, or anything.

Be sure to go to settings, keyboard, android keyboard, input languages, and CHECK English :D

Nice, I was bothered by the fact that the version that Pete gave to us didn't have word prediction. I will be putting this on my phone in a minute and will let you know how it works. Thanks Fabolous, you always bring some amazing work to the community.

yea i got it sorry but for some reason there were two 'android keyboard' options...

also when i go to select the language there are two indentical options but idk which to pick since the other android keyboard option sent my piece into constant FCs... whatever i guess, its in English...lol

i just downloaded the zip and installed it threw clock work >under download rom ... I didnt make a backup and everything works great! Great job dancedroid

That was going to be my question. I flashed the original kb from droid life earlier today and it was way small. I could barely type so I restored the original.

I'm having the same problem too. Maybe it is a droid 2 problem?
