when I try to send a pic message to a person with a Motorola Droid it will send from my phone as normal but when the message is recieved by the Motorola Droid it will say download unsuccessful, but i am able to send pic messages to anyone else with no problem. How can I fix this??

Lady has DI
I can send picture messages (MMS) to her, but she cannot send to me.
I get "Download of message (No subject) from Lady Friend was unsuccessful." and an error on the message bar that says "Message was not downloaded - Select to review the message and try again."
I believe it started once she got the OTA 2.2 on the DI.

I had this issue all the time before they rolled out 2.1 for the Eris.
Try using Handcent? What ROM are you running?

I'll try Handcent.
I'm running Ultimate Droid 8.0 and tried Sapphire 1.1 also with the same problem.

Still have the problem with Handcent.

Well try this.
Unroot and try to send an MMS to the D1 owner. If the issue continues maybe take it into Verizon?
