So, I now know it was 6 years ago today that I got my OG Droid. i introduced my cousin to Android that day & he got one too.
Here he is, taking in all of its glory.
As stated elsewhere, I had the T-Mobile G1 previously, but when I moved to this part of Michigan, they have no service here, so I was forced to use an LG dumbphone until I realized there was an android phone available from VZW.
I learned my first bit of Linux tinkering with the droid that took this picture. Rooted & themed my cousin's as well.
