I was wondering if anyone knows a simple fix to my market account problem. I just recently changed my email address and i lost all my purchases on the android market. Is there any way to resurrect these downloads on my new gmail address? Like linking both accounts or something.

Not that I have heard. They are tied to one account only.

I was afraid of that. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and repurchase everything.

Market is tied to the google account you created for the phone.

I do not believe at this time there is any fix for that.

Re-signon to your device with your original google account, then backup the applications to your SD card, that way you'll have the apps to install.

You can also try emailing market help thru the links within the market itself.

I hate t be the bearer of bad news, bnb is right (per usual). Those apps get tied to one gmail account, and it's really for your own protection. If you can't access the account to download the apps you will have to repurchase.

Also, why not just leave your original account alone, and add the new one into gmail or another email app? Although the original one can be used on the market, etc. no one says you have to use it for actual email ....
