    I didn't have a way to charge my battery while my phone was bricked, so I made one.

    If you were smart, you would have wired in a resistor to drop that 5V input to around 4V so you don't fry your battery.

    I've just heard of too many people toasting their batteries doing that. You definitely did a nice job on the construction though. That beats the hell out of bare wire taped to the contacts.
