Mail Notification problems...

I have my notification times down to "10 minutes" and still I don't get emails for about 3 hours or if I manually look for them!!! I have missed time sensitive emails too!!
HELP (bc VZ is not)

Do you have smart actions or a battery saver app set to turn off data or wifi when screen times out? If so, then it will not be possible to get your email because in order to get email immediately, you will need to have either your wifi or your 3g/4g data on 100% of the time.

Also, check to see if you have background data disabled. Happened to me after ICS upgrade.

I think you have to change your mail servers imap settings to delete. For gmail it's in your settings (via Web).

Of course, it seems it still shouldn't re-deliver

There is no battery and data under settings for Maxx..just battery and data usage both which do not show "data delivery"
