Magnify screen text and using as maginfier

Hello,

I have 2 questions:

1) Does anyone know of an app or function that enlarges the test on the screen.

2) Does anyone know of an app that will alow the droid to be used as a magnifying glass to enlarge something on a piece of paper so that it can be view more clearly. IE: I am at a restaurant and can't read the menu because it is to small and I do not have my glasses.

I noticed tonight the app Magnify v1.2 in the market that would perform the functions you are looking for. I try to never leave home without reading glasses - this looks like a great app.

Might take longer and look sort of funny but you could take a pic then pinch and zoom to make it larger.

I was at a seminar once with slides up on the screen. I was furiously taking notes when the guy next to me asked, "why don't you just take a picture". I've done that often since.
