Admittedly not entirely Android specific (the Droid is mentioned though), the Android OS is definitely picking up steam. Wonder what these numbers will look like by the end of the year when LG, Samsung and Sony Ericsson introduce more Android phones. More market share = more developers.

From AppleInsider article: "The overall smartphone market grew 26 percent in the fourth quarter, according to ABI, thanks to increased sales of Google's Android mobile operating system and Nokia increasing sales by 4.6 million. The quarter also saw the high-profile introduction of the Motorola Droid smartphone."

Yeah it will be interesting to see how everything shakes out. Apple still commands a huge market share though. Pretty incredible.

Had that discussion lol, more in likely not to happen. Its still a .00000000091% chance but the ipad/att exclusive deal may be the nail in the coffin.
because we all thought that apple was going to announce it on the same day that they announced the ipad, isnt that right ck :pint: yeah im still drinking the glass of i told ya so.
