Liberty 1.5 dock removal

New to liberty, but love it! But how can I get the dock to go away at the bottom of the Home screen?

You can use a custom launcher like LauncherPro or ADW

I've seen some threads about ADW causing some problems..

I've never been able to get launcher pro to work..

What do you mean work? You just install it and it works. If you want to keep it as your homescreen though you do have to press the Home button and select it from the list.

I have ADW now which did work for dock removal. With launcher pro I have never been able to get the pull down menus to work. Then I tried purchasing LP through internet and it still wouldn't let me use pull down menus, do I uninstalled.
