Launcher Pro not responding

When I turn on my phone I get the message that Launcher Pro is not responding and it asks if I want to force close, wait, or report but I cannot choose any option the phone is basically frozen.

Is there anyway to stop Launcher Pro from starting up? Anyone have any suggestions?

If you can't get in the phone and it force closes and freezes up on you as soon as you boot up then you might need to boot in to recovery and do a factory reset.

Reboot into recovery and wipe data. Droid 1 you can boot into safe mode but am not sure how to do it for the dx.

just in case you are not sure how:

1. Turn your phone off.
2. Hold down “Home” and press “Power” until the Motorola logo appears.
3. Release ”Power” and continue to hold “Home” until an exclamation appears.
4. Release “Home” and press the “Search” button once.
5. Your phone will now enter recovery.
