And switched from Verizon to T-Mobile (a different discussion). Anyway, so far, I'm loving the G2. Super fast and snappy.

Question I have is, how to I remove the Quick Remote stuff from the swipe down menu? I was playing with it last night but I don't like it there and can't figure out how to remove it. There's a place where you can have the actual remote you set up removed but there's still an option for the Quick Remote in the swipe down at that point. I want to remove it from there entirely.

Thanks.

Thanks but I tried that. There is no option for Quick Remote. It shows up just under the icons which come up when you slide down.

Alternative screenshot (even easier, imo) method, just swipe up and to the right from the home button. To the quickmemo image.

You need to be in the top row, not the Qslide row. :happy3:
Ah!! That did the trick! Thanks for being patient!

btw, so far, this phone kicks some serious ass. Wicked fast for sure.

I just got mine on Monday. Found out how to hide Qslide on another thread. Love this phone! Brought it home, charged it up, tried to wear it down to charge again and it took a day and a half!!! Coming from the Razr that was mind-boggling! :icon_ banana:

I've been beating on it since about 7 this morning. I'm at 39% left. Hope the battery stays good for a while.

Been downloading and streaming audio off and on all day. Only on 4g, too.

This keyboard is also so much better than the Razr.

The screen is downright stunning. Camera seems to be decent as well.

This mine, 5+hours 'screen on' mostly using on forums/social media/browser.

I'm learning more things as I go along. A friend of my has an S4 and it has the sidebar quick launch bar. Was kinda jealous of that until I did some reading and discovered the slide aside feature on the G2. Not as efficient as the way the S4 works but it works just the same. And using Apex I have my camera launch by swiping down since you have the notification drop in the bottom buttons. And swipe up for calculator. This are the ones I seem to always need to get to the quickest.
