Is there an easier way to access your favorite contacts without going into contacts?

Just like the title says...Coming from a bionic there was an option to acces your favorite contacts with a drop down menu on the homescreen or any page you put the feature on. I don't see that option with the S3. Basically just looking for an quicker way to access my favorites without having to go into the phone or contacs option. Thanks...

Go into the market and search for a contacts widget. They have them.

The stock ROM also has direct dial widgets and contact widget (as well as 3rd party). Go into apps, go to widgets, swipe right to left, and you'll see it on page 2 or 3. Put on a screen and configure to me the contact you want.

And don't forget Swipepad, an app that adds a little pull out screen from anywhere you want on the sides/corners of your phone that you can add up to 10 apps/contacts/favorites. One of my most used apps easily. Only takes a little getting used to after you find the right spot for you, then you'll never go back.

When I click on either Contacts or Phone there is a Favorites button on top.
