is droid 4 waterproof

is the droid 4 going to be waterproof. I read somewhere whre it has a splashguard But does that mean you can take it in a swimming pool are shower? also i realize there is waterproof cases but the ones i have seen you cant slide the keyboard out are can you? i try to keep up with the latest news on smartphones BUsT need a little more information. on what the splah guard is also is it on the droid 3?

It's splash resistant. So if you spill some kind of liquid on it it should be fine. If you submerge it in something, chances are it won't resist well.

I don't use cases personally so I wouldn't know.

But if the case is designed for the phone (not a one size fit all universal case). Then I would think they'd accommodate the keyboard.
