I just got a new Thunderbolt two days ago and...

... it is having some texting issues. I receive texts from some people and not others. I receive MMS texts from some At&t iphones but not others. My roommate on Metro PCS has never successfully sent me a text. My other roommate on T Mobile has, flawlessly.

Two At&t iphones by two of my friends tried to send photos. One came immediately. The other never showed up (it's been six hours).

It's unrooted and I'm running Launcher Pro...

I often have trouble texting with AT&T people. I have a Droid X, and I've had the problem since my Palm Pixi Plus. It's not your phone, it's probably AT&T.

As for that MetroPCS thing, unless you can recieve texts from Metro with a different Verizon phone, it's someone's network, I know networks don't always play nice when sending texts to other carriers.

I had the same issue on my TB when I first picked it up,, someone on here suggested a batt pull and also pull and reinstall the sim card... worked for me
