HTC Ruby Images Leak via Reflective Camera Work

Here's a story that seems like something out of a spy-thriller. Some leaked images of what is supposedly a new HTC phone called the Ruby were leaked on Flickr, and were then quickly removed. Even more interesting is that the pics weren't direct pics of the device, but were taken using the reflection off of an HTC Flyer tablet. Right now, the only thing we know about this phone is that it is using the codename "Ruby" (which HTC has used before for other phones) and that it has a white-back, a dual-flash camera, and 3.5mm audio jack. Clever photographer...

If the guy taking the pic was able to take two shots that close at different angles why not just turn 180 degrees and take two shots of the actual phone? I mean, if there weren't supposed to be any pictures taken anyway, why not risk taking actual photos instead of mirror shots?
