I have not rooted yet but I plan on using the Wugfresh one click method of rooting since im sorta a noob. From there I wanted to put this ROM on with the 4.0.4 radio that comes with it. Can someone please help me because I'm lost and this looks like the greatest ROM out now.

Here is the link I am looking at:
DroidModderX » -[ROM] AXIOM CROSSBREED MONOLITH B1 AOKP 4.0.4 3/12/12

Here is a video you might wanna check out that reviews the ROM:

    Thanks!!

I can tell you this is by far the best rom I've run on my GNEX so far. After you get rooted and unlocked its easy to get the rom to the phone. I will take some screen shots and post them in a little bit to try and help you out.

So the Droid X I was using to try and take pictures of my gnex turned out way to bad. So it might be a little bit longer before I can post pictures. Do you know how to get into recovery? (After rooting and unlocking power the phone off and hold down volume up and down and
the power button, that will power it into recovery that is where we need to be to put the rom on the phone.)

Im seriously so pumped. I've never seen a ROM like it. Hows the 3g/4g data connection and battery life with the Franco kernel?

Hey, everyone! A friend over on Youtube helped me out. Here is the video that he made just for me to help me root and install this ROM on my phone. Dude makes great GNex videos so if you like what you see then subscribe to his channel. Thanks everyone for the help! Going to root this weekend so I'll let you know how it goes.

Here are the directions on that site:

    INSTALLATION

    ROM ON SD CARD
    WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
    WIPE CACHE

    WIPE DALVIK
    FORMAT SYSTEM
    FLASH IT
    REBOOT

What exactly are we supposed to do for "FORMAT SYSTEM"? And I am assuming that I should be rooted before I wipe through Recovery, am I correct?

No 3g/4g issues and I get a solid day of good use before I put it in a charger.

There's no need to format system yourself, before the .zip installs it will automatically format /system. Unless you are one if those "wipe 3 times, and then again to be sure" type of people.

So if I wipe once I'm good? haha. Just don't wanna end up bricking it even though its not very likely. And which Crossbreed ROM do you suggest? The standard one or the SHO one?

anybody with a mirror? I can't seem to download.

also by backwards compatible, what does that really mean (if I flashed the one with radio and bootloader)? I can just wipe like before or do I have to flash the old radio ?
