how to change status bar icons

ok, I want to play with creating a custom battery icon, anyone know what size it has to be?

from what I understand u take the framework.apk rename it framework.zip find the batt icons and just replacethem i think they all .png's

i know that, i have found the icons.. i need to know what size they have to be to make new ones

from what i did when i made some from scratch in photoshop just took the image i wanted to make and opened the png in photoshop and went up to i think view>image size or something like that and it would tell me and just kinda went off that.
