How do I delete trash e mail?

I use Gmail and was wondering how do I delete emails in the trash bin? Either individual ones or multiple ones, I just must be missing something here.

I go in and clear everything out from my computer. If there is a way to do it from my phone, I will be interested in hearing about it.

I know that you can go to the trash bin label, open up each message individually and delete them that way but that is WAY too painful. :icon_eek:

Wow, what a pain! At least it can be done. I seem to remember that I could do it on the OG DROID without the help of another computer. Of course back then the slogan was "Droid does".

Some of us (like me) are new to this world of smartphones. Just what, please, is the "desktop site" - are you referring to Verizon's web site?

You can login to gmail using your browser or do it with your PC and browser. Clear the trash that way.
