I have some on my phone, in particular "footprints" and "stocks" and "mp3 store", which turn themeselves on all the time. I am suspicious because they send out data about me and my contacts. I want to delete them but there is no option for doing so under file management. Can I go in and manually delete them? Thanks for any help.

You can't remove them unless your rooted.

And don't worry about them seeming to be running, Android is different than any other device OS.

Thanks. What is "rooted" also, I agree with your two rules ;)

Rooted is the same thing as being an adminstrator on a pc. You have COMPLETE access and control. Incredible hasnt been rooted to that extent that I know of, so right now you cannot.
