ok im trying to put a custom rom on my dorid im rooted but droid mod dose not show i am and im trying to unroot so i can re root my phone but every time i go to unroot i get some error. i dont know if it is cuz i have the 2.1 update 1 or what please help me

If you got the ota 2.1 update you aren't rooted. the only way you can root your phone is to flash 2.0.1 back on your phone.

First things first... go to menu/settings/about phone/firmware version... just to make sure what you're running now... if it says 2.1 then you're not rooted and you have to reflash 2.0.1 like corinacakes said... the update bit you in the butt .... yeeehawwww
