GPS says I am in New York when I am in Texas , and lost 3G only 1x . ;-)
GPS came on and will not stop , setting in open space typing this GPS has gone crazy .

Sounds you're in a bad signal area because you're only getting 1X. Try going to another nearby area and see if your GPS and signal improve.

Oh , maybe 2.0.1 allows teleportation now . ;-)

maybe that's why we didn't see 2.1 today.... they're working on integrating teleportation :)

Could be , GPS is sucking battery big time , we have a trouble ticket with VZW issued 2 days ago , but not for GPS .
Just turned GPS off for now .

Okay , just turned the GPS back on and it is acting normal again , I did notice that the phone was sluggish , but became snappy once the GPS cleared up .
Could not run "top" (top in Linux run in a terminal shows running kernel processes) to see what was running , so kind of scary , like a App was hogging the GPS for a few hours .
