Nah, actually it used to be an acronym. M.A.D. but has kind of changed a lot since then. Was somewhat of a company for a little bit starting in 2005 or something like that. I have a different business now though and the MAD Industries name is owned by someone else. (some motocross apparel company?) But people still use it to associate with me online because I released some programs under the name so I still use it for consistency's sake.
