handcent issue

i just got a droid x and installed handcent since i had it on my moto droid and it only lets me text certain ppl and i cant figure out why .. then i updated it to 2.2 and it still wont work i did all the steps verizon told me to do and still cant use handcent can anyone help me with this issue?

what do you mean certain people? if they have a number in contacts it should allow you to bring them up to text..

you cant add their name to the TO: bar or it wont send?

in handcent it wont send the names are there contacts and all but it just tries to send and then wont.. and for the droid x are you not allowed to send +1 numbers?

no handcent allows multiple recipients. are you sure you have the numbers entered properly in contacts? 10 digit numbers?

you shouldnt have to do that to use the stock messaging app..

well as soon as i install handcent it doesnt let me do **** with messaging to certain ppl like i said but then if i unistall it and reset my phone my messaging works and i can text those ppl that i couldnt before

thats weird. maybe go thru handcents settings to make sure its not causing any problems.

handcent doesnt seem to play nice with some users running the OTA. I would uninstall it until an update is released. Try emailing the dev with your issue and see what kind of response you get. Also, have you tried clearing the cache?
