Great forum by the way, well he is the thing i have no idea how to turn on the GPS, had the phone for 2 weeks,love it so far, now owndering about all these updates everyone is talking about, had a update yesterday went really smooth, and it has to be the one everyone is tlaking about, when looking at my screen at top has a symbol, so thats what ever one else is talking about, but yeah can someone please tell me how the gps works thanks!!! Rob

Pull down the notification bar, and hit the GPS button.

Ta da!
Oh, and make sure that if you aren't using it to turn it off the same way as it eats up the battery.

yeah i did that, gps would be highlighted green then nothing, dont see anyting else on here, do i have to down load google streets or google maps??? thanks for your help!

All you need to download is google maps. Only have gps on when using maps.

You are turning on your GPS the right way. You will only see the GPS icon in the notification bar if an app is actively using the GPS receiver. Otherwise it disappears.
