HI All. I have been using GV for a long time and consider myself a fairly savvy GV user. I just came across an issue that I cannot understand and cannot determine if this is a new issue or something that has been going on for the past 30 days (since I got D2). When an inbound caller rings my GV number the mobile phone will ring as expected. If I press ignore, the call gets dumped into my verizon wireless voice mailbox. If I do nothing, but do not answer the call, the call eventually gets routed into my GV mailbox. My call settings in the phone explicitly state the voice mail system should be GV. AND I have done the mailbox forwarding using *71. Under these conditions, why would any call ever land in my VZW mailbox? UPDATE: I have been able to determine that this peculiar behavior is a result of some other call forwarding i had going on in the background. Once that forwarding was turned off the problem went away.
