try a different kernel. supposedly it has something to do with the kernel not having ipv6 support.

I'm running bb 0.4 at its stock 800mhz rooted 2.2 and goggles works. Just an fyi

theres a search btton up there All kernals install the same way and it is easy. Can your phone handle it? That's another question. Mine can't so I run at 800Mhz. Just make sure you use a kernel that works with your ROM.
