Google contact duplicates

I don't know if its a bug/glitch but each person I have in my list has 3 google contacts when I'm in edit mode. Meaning it shows their name, email, organization, then when I scoll down it shows the same info. I scroll down more and it repeats itself for the third time. I tried joining them but it still displays multiple entries. Anything I can do about it?

Log into gmail via the web and clean up the contacts from there.
