Here's an interesting story concerning Google's acquisition of Bitspin, a small team of application developers based in Zurich, Switzerland. some of you may be familiar with their simple alarm clock app for Android called Timely. So what does a beautifully made alarm clock app mean to Google? Well hopefully the acquisition of Bitspin will be the beginning of the "beautification" of Android. The OS is in need of a makeover and if anyone can put together some great looking widgets, icons, and other eye candy, these gents are just the ones.
