Gmail App is all screwed up! Help!

It started yesterday. I open it and no matter what i press (menu, select an email, anything besides notification bar and home) it just glitches and keeps "reopening" the app! Reboots and battery pulls have not fixed it! What is going on? Anyone else have experience with this issue or a solution???

Google is aware of issues with the GMAIL app and is working on a fix, not sure if your issues are the same, but hopefully the update will help you. Articles started popping up all over regarding this yesterday.
