Ghost in the droid !

This may have been covered before and if so im sorry but i couldn't find any good answer .

My droid is going crazy
1. i cant slide the unlock screen when i have a incoming call
2. on the app page of the droid the droid screen is scrolling up and
down by itself pressing buttons jerking back and forth...
3. it make phone calls by its self even pressing the number on the screen
by itself
4. Screen jerks back and forth to the point i cant even see what app it is pressing

What i have done to try and correct this
1. took it back to 2.0.1 with the RSD lite reflash method......x2
2. manually upgraded to 2.1-update then rooted and installed Bugless Beast V.4
3. after all the work doing that all seems well untill about 20 or 30 mins in then the ghost returns again scrolling pressing jerking back and forth up down its really a inconvence to me had a important call i could not answer really upset me
4. i even reinstalled 2.0.1 stayed there for a while ......then it came back again
5. went too 2.1-update stock no root no custom recovery nothing
then after about an hour ....bam back came the ghost ....
i already exchanged my phone once from verizon this year already ....
I really need some help or atleast point me in the right direction ?

Any Help With This would be greatly appreciated

so now i stand with stock 2.1-update scared to do anything to it its been about 4 hours and no ghost but i really have not been on the phonethat much but .....well hope so one can help me out

I had this problem with stock 2.1 and it turned out to be a faulty touch screen. Called Verizon and they replaced my phone.

Are you using the wall charger that came with the phone???? I have seen several instances where someone is only using the usb or a replacement charger and for some reason it causes the droid to go crazy and not act right. The other thing I would check is are you running a theme or did you download a new app recently?? If so, try going back to a stock rom and do not use a backup of your apps. See if the problem persists. If not restore your apps one or two at a time to see if you can find the one that is causing the trouble. then restore your theme and see what happens.

Sounds like a hardware issue. Get another replacement.
