Getting rid of the "bloat"

I've been reading and searching around for a newbie guide to setting up the Droid X. What I'm looking for is a guide that shows what should go and what should stay. Anyone have any idea as to where I could find something like this?

You have to root to remove the bloat. There are many threads on what the steps are for that and a thread with a list of what you can delete.

Unless you root your stuck. You can install LauncherPro and make those widgets invisible.
