External Antenna on Droid X?

I need a phone with an external antenna (to connect to my external RF amp and external antenna) since I often travel low signal areas in the US.

The original Moto Droid has a tiny antenna port connector on the back under the battery cover hidden by a small rubber plug. This is there, I think, for testing purposes, but can be used (very carefully because it's fragile) for an external amp/antenna.

Does anyone know if the Droid X has a similar external antenna connector? If so, do you know the size/type of connector? Are you sure this connector is indeed an antenna port?

I really want the Droid X, but if it doesn't have this connector it's no good to me.
