Error signing in to google servers

I received this error about an four ago. Eroor signing in to Google and can't contact servers please try again later. Anyone else with a Gnex getting this?

I got notification an hour ago as well, but since then I got it signed in again. Did you try restarting your phone?

Yeah I restarted the phone and was good then tried now app and same as you.

I just did factory resets (2 hours ago) on all of my devices... I got the same message on all of them..

I guess this explains why I waited 30 minutes when I called Google earlier. Was trying to find out why Google play movies won't play through my tablet using HDMI from Transformer Prime.

I had this problem from about 8pm last night (EST) until this morning, 7am-ish. Finally got tired of seeing that exclamation point notification and rebooted. The issue went away, but I just noticed that the icons for Maps and Navigation were removed from my desktop. I put them back, and ran Maps (which worked fine). Strange.....
