Email jerking me around

Here is the long and the sort of it. I need my email to actually be checked by the so called email software on my moto droid. I have 5 imap accounts for work and of course my gmail account. My Gmail acct. is instant. I want my other 5 email accts. to be instant too. How the heck can i make that happen.

I have the setting down to ever 5 min, but sometimes i wont get emails for hours even if i go in and refresh them manually....

Please help I'm going nuts....

I experience the same issue with my Yahoo! account that is set up via IMAP.

I wish I could offer a solution...but I am sure many of the brilliant minds floating around this forum will be able to.

Thanks...I love every other thing about the droid except that. I am trying to run 3 business and I need my emails when they come in!

Since I've never had another phone that uses IMAP technology to check an e-mail account...it's not entirely clear to me if this is a 'flaw' with DROID or just a hazard of doing business the IMAP way.

Again, I'm sure someone around the forum will have a better answer to your question.
