Was a long time BB user and switched to the HTC Eris for all of 12 hrs. Quite possibly the worst phone I've ever owned. I then picked up the Palm Pre Plus and quickly found out the Eris wasn't all that bad....I didn't want to get rid of the Pre due to having the free mobile hot-spot, but the phone is degrading (technologically speaking) on a daily basis.
That being said, I ordered my Droid X and should have it Tuesday morning. A LOT of co-workers of mine have it and love it. Only the biggest die hard fanbois are switching from their X to the VeriPhone. Oddly, none of them can give me a definitive answer as to why. I have no brand loyalty, just want a great all around phone.
