Can you call your Aunt, explain the situation to her, have her call vzw, ask them to call you on another line, and go from there? It may be a pita, but it's worth a shot.

no. ive even tried walking around my neighbordhood trying to find one that isn't locked but my neighbors don't trust their wifi

Glad to hear it. The wifi would let you sign into your gmail account then activate your phone after that. Its a mute point now though.
