I made the mistake of having my Droid in my shirt pocket while I was working on my farm tractor. I crawled under the tractor to attach a hose and the phone must have slipped out. I drove the tractor a few feet and ran over the Droid facedown in gravel. I had a very sick feeling when I picked it up. Amazingly, it still worked. The screen was a little rough :icon_eek:, but I could move, select and start an app. Luckily, after reading some things here, I had called up and added insurance. This was the day before Thanksgiving and my local Verizon store was able to help me get a new phone the same day. Lessons learned: 1. Phone doesn't go in shirt pocket. 2. Insurance is a good idea for people like me. 3. It is a tough phone. 4. Verizon service can be great. I'm trying to be much more careful with the new one.. Barry PS If you look at the picture, you can see that it is working and apps are displayed.
