Droid 2 global call quality

me and my girlfriend got these droids for christmas. there awesome but the call quality sounds like..DOOO DOOO!!!!!, ecspecially when we call eachother from our droids. ive tryed the *228 option 2 which slightly helped, and i changed to CDMA from global but didnt notice a difference. and i tryed the ##program, but they changed that so i cant change anything, and i have the most recent update. any other options, thanks

Turn off voice privacy.
