Droid 1 Wifi Issue

Original droid running 2.2 via CM6 final kernel that comes with it.

As soon as i turn on my wifi it repeatedly turns on and off over and over, the only way to stop it is to enable airplane mode. Ive ran multiple roms and kernels since i got my phone in may, and had this problem even before rooting. Ive only just now really need to use it. Wifi tethering also doesnt work.

like ive said ive tried many different kernels and roms, chevys, p3s, basically every rom. should i go to verizon with this?

At this point, I'd say yet. Remember to unroot first.

I'd look more at your router first... is it a hidden network? is there mac filtering? was it connecting with a froyo rom before CM6?

I'v had WIFI issues @ home & work since I updated to 2.2. Was hoping todays Update would resolve it bit no luck.
