I have a very old unlimited DATA plan with Verizon. I believe I read a post where someone indicated they also had unlimited TETHERING.

Does anyone have factual evidence that such a thing exists? If so, how would you determine if your individual plan would qualify?

I live in a rural area but I do have 4G with an unlimited plan & would love once in a while to be able to read the news on a larger screen. i.e. laptop, tablet.

Thx in advance.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not interested in rooting.

They once had unlimited tethering but it costs an additional $30 per month. But the key phrase here is "once had". That option no longer exists. To get unlimited tether you either have to switch to a new tiered plan or use a tethering app ie...Foxfi, pdanet, ect....

Or you can use USB tethering, which they include an app for - but don't give any way to pay for - so in my eyes, it's okay to tether that way for free.
