The new update is working on my phone. Interesting thing is MAPS thinks my phone is an HTC Vigor. I wonder if this is a workaround.

"Vigor" is the original name of this phone before someone thought Rezound was better and more marketable name, and it is not unusual at all, especially for HTC products, to have them referred to by their design name long after a marketing name was chosen.

Your phone is an HTC Vigor. Verizon decided to market as a ghetto blaster that makes phone calls and changed its street name for cred in the hood.
