Is there anyway to somehow group 8 or 10 of your contacts together. What i am wanting to do is have a way to send the same 8 or 10 people the same text message without having to put their number in everytime. I know on my last phone i was able to do this but i haven't figured out how to do it on the droid yet.

You can create groups using gmail on a computer but the stock messaging app doesn't have any way to use them. One of the things that's always bugged me about this phone. But I've heard that the 3rd party ones (ChompSMS or Handcent) have some sort of grouping ability but I've never used either.

I came to the droid from a windows mobile phone and that is still one area where android has a lot of growing up to do.
